HOPE Youth Mentoring

HOPE…
Matches 6-14 year old boys and girls with mentors in a 1:1 relationship.  These boys and girls are youth who could benefit from a positive role model outside of their family.  There are referred to the program through local agencies, organizations and schools.

Mentors are caring adults who agree to meet with their special friend twice a month for one year.  They share what they know, listen, laugh and have fun with a special boy or girl.

The HOPE Youth Mentoring Program is sponsored by the Livingston County Department of Social Services, Livingston County Mental Health, the Probation Department and the Youth Bureau.

“If we are to have real peace, we must begin with the children.” -Mahatma Gandhi
