VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION
For Catholic Charities of Livingston County
Position Title: Transport Donated Furniture
Program/Department: Help*Works
Description of Project/Purpose of Assignment:
· Pick up of donated furniture.
· Deliver furniture to clients that are in need.
Outline of Volunteer’s Responsibilities/List of Tasks:
Pick up donated furniture one or two times per month and deliver to those in need at your availability.
Training and Support Plan: N/A
Skills/Qualifications Needed for Assignment:
- Strong back
- Valid Drivers license
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours at a time. Flexible. Ideally, volunteer would only be called upon once or twice a month.
Location/Geographic Area of Assignment: Livingston County
Outcome/Goals of Assignment: People in need of furniture have that need met.
Reporting required: Confirm that the connection was made and went as planned. Record of time spent.
