Donations
Do you have a used vehicle you no longer need? Children's clothing? Small household items you no longer need? How about extra toiletries, baby diapers, or cleaning supplies?
All of these items are useful to the families and individuals who use our programs. Many people come to us in need of everyday items like soap. Some families come to us with a place to live, but need every day household items like pots and pans, dishes, lamps, etc. If you would like to improve the lives of families right in your community, please consider donating new or gently used items to Catholic Charities.
Below is a list of items families need. If you would like to donate something not on the list, please call 585.658.4466 to ask if we are able to accept your donation. Documentation for tax purposes available upon request.
- Gently Used Baby Items
- Diapers/Wipes
- Toiletries (soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, lotion, etc.)
- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- Cleaning Supplies (bathroom cleaner, all-surface cleaner, dusting spray, clothes, gloves)
- Small household items such as lamps, dishes, utensils
- Children's Clothing
- Winter Coats
- Perishable and Non-Perishable Food
- Used Cars
- Storage space
- New, unused Car Seats
You can also help by:
- Making a donation of real property: stocks, bonds, land, buildings, art, and other objects of value.
- List Catholic Charities of Livingston County in your will, or as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
- Send Catholic Charities a monetary donation
