Family Therapy is currently by referral only from either Livingston County children’s SPOA committee or DSS. In order to receive services a child in the family must have a diagnosed Mental Illness and the family must be in need of supportive services for coping with the special needs of their child and the impact on the entire family system. Families receive alternative parenting strategies as well as communication skills. Services are provided in home and are individualized to meet each family’s unique needs.
If you or a loved one is in immediate distress or personal crisis here are resources available 24/7 and they are free and confidential.
