Transitional Jail Services are offered to inmates who are transitioning from the Livingston County Jail. These Services prepare inmates for re-integration into their communities by connecting them with:
- Housing options
- Employment opportunities
- SSI/SSD applications
- ID, social security cards, birth certificates
- Mental health and doctor appointments
- Addiction treatment and local 12-Step programs
- Bed-to-bed Rehab transfers
- Transportation upon release day
- Warm clothing, shoes, or other needed essentials
- Emergency assistance at the department of social services
- College, technical school, and parenting education
- Medicaid Insurance through the United Health Care insurance specialist, Destiny
- Parenting Education and Supportive Services
