Food Pantry

Please note our current procedures due to COVID-19:

We are still operating the Mount Morris Food Pantry, but have updated our procedures. The pantry hours have not changed (see below for hours this week). In accordance with Health Department guidelines, we will not allow shopping, however we are still committed to serving our clients as best we can. Clients should come to the door and you will receive a box according to family size. In addition, deliveries can be arranged if needed. Please call 585-658-4466 ext 11.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these new waters.

*****

The Mt. Morris Food Pantry opened its doors to the public in December 2007, and each month serves more than 100 families that are experiencing a food crisis.  The Food pantry receives food from The Greater Rochester Foodlink, Barilla, church drop boxes, schools, and community donors.  In the past year the Food Pantry has provided food to 461 unduplicated families.

The Food Pantry is available to Mt. Morris residents 1 time per month. Those facing a food crisis outside the Mt Morris school district may visit on a ONE TIME ONLY basis. For the first visit, shoppers must bring proof of residency (i.e. lease or letter) and income (i.e. pay stub or benefits card) for everyone in the household. No shopper may take food for anyone other than those who live in their immediate household.

Our hours are:

  • Tuesday 9am-12pm
  • Wednesday 1pm-3pm
  • Thursday 9am-12pm

We are located at The New Family Theater, 102 Main Street, Mount Morris.
